    got the cars out this weekend

    This past weekend was Kool April Nites in Redding. Great weather resulted in an awesome show. More than 2000 cars. My Dad, brother, friend and myself decided to take our Mopar's and get some photos of them near my parents house.

    Thanks everyone, we had a good time. The color on the barracuda is a custom color my friend created. He painted it himself as well and is only 22 years old.

    Oh and on a side note my brother and I decided to see if my dual quad small block could keep up with his 440 and boy was he surprised when I did.  :burnout: (both running automatics with 3.23 gears he has 275 60R 15 tires and I have 255 60R 15 and we figure i am about 400 pounds lighter than he is).

    I here ya on surprising big block owners. My good friend has a '68 Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum, 727 and not sure of his rearend. I think 3.23's. We lined up on a back road and ran up to about 80. His front bumper was at the middle of my door. :bigsmile:

    I have a 340 sixpack 4 speed and 4.10 gears and the 340 is very tired. He thought he'd get me but... :grinno: :naughty:

    hey 72hemi were you by any chance parked and sat to watch the parade over by cool hand lukes and the furniture place? I think is saw your car there. I had mine parked in the little show and shine behind the caution tape before i went out into the parade.
