I recently bought a 74 rr off ebay. (Last summer) for (sold as) parts. The man I bought it from in (near) Oklahoma city didn't know what he had. I believe he was a bow tie man as this was his only mopar. car has a 440 auto in it he had it advertised as a 400 block in the car. When I got it loaded up and on the way home I looked at the numbers. This is one of the few cars I have with a fender tag. Never have understood why anybody would want a fender tag and not any other #s from a car. Well car decodes as follows E68 D34 RM21 P4G ***** That is the bottom line on the fender tag. the same 5 #s ***** follow 04 on the core support and the cowl. how ever the dash pad and the drivers door have 2 completely different #s. also this car needs to have the front frame rails changed do to metal damage(car wreck) I bought this car for parts, I only payed 400$ for it. it has a complete drive line in it including magnum manifolds,so I don't see any loss on my part there. What I am getting at is can I get a das tag made legelly for this and what is the perscribed procedure. I really don't like the Idea of scrapping a coupe RR body.already been there and done that.
