On Challengertalk.com, they had a memo somewhere that all SE's built after March were to be 5-speed autos, no more 4-speeds.

If you go on Dodge.com and build a Challenger SE, you will see that the 5-speed is now included.  They probably only have the 4-speed option there because there are still 4-speeds in inventory.

well I love my SE, walked in, they had it looking like a white SRT and for 25K, I couldn't pass on the deal. I have my 72 to get my SRT fix.

virtually trouble free..?

4500 miles, and 5 1/2 months..
about a month ago the check engine light came on..
Took it to the dealer and they said a piece of upper radiator seal came loose
and binding the electric cooling fan which blew a 50 amp fuse..
Took all of 15 minutes to fix the problem..
so, yeah, virtually trouble free..

225/65/17 = 28.5"x9"  &  255/70/17 = 31.1"x10.25"

You too?   :screwy:

I'm sitting at a red light, and all of a sudden I feel a clunk from the front end. That turned into an ugly loud clicking/clacking noise. I opened the hood soon after to find the problem. So I guess I got to it before I blew a fuse. I saw the piece of seal was hacked by the fan, and laying down inside the shroud area. I have NO idea where it came from, but it won't be getting in the way anymore.   :grinno:

If you can afford it, go for an R/T. Guys on challengertalk.com are getting like 25-28 mpg's with 375 HP. With the cylinder shut off they can achieve some amazing mpg. Yes it is a little more hit on the pocketbook, but well worth it IMO.

the key is if you could afford it  :money: I figured in about 4 ir 5 years I can buy the SRT  motor and powertrain and drop it in for alot less then the extra money now and I will be ahead of the game when the car depreciates in value.  :dunno:
