Does it look history is repeating itself before our own eyes?
Mid 1960's-early 1970's: Cheap fuel and the consumer desire for power leds to muscle cars mainia, the HEMI is king. Than the government steps in, demands change, insurance makes muscle unaffordable, gas costs skyrockets due to politics....muscle car era is over.
Mid to Late 2000's: Cheap fuel, consumer desire for power, manufacturers build new high tech muscle cars, the big HEMI and R/T's returns, life is good. NOW, government is interviening with guzzler tax, more emissions, carbon reduction, demanding fuel mileage and may take over companies and dictate what cars will be built, fuel was $4/gallon and will go back (with government help) and it looks like the new muscle car era will end.
Hummm....get those HEMI's while you can
