Well sounds like they do not like the P's for the cars anymore like the plymouth getting gone as well
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

These are truly sad times.
Except for those who blame the big 3 for everything, and don't have any problem buying a car made on the other side of the world using poorly paid labor and having little or no environmental regulations.

I have been thinking of something that is strange.  I had a plymouth when they cut them off and now I have a pontiac and they cut them off too.  Hard to believe it

If they were to do that, they would be dumb. They need to get rid of the Buicks if anything. There are WAY more Pontiacs out there than Buicks.

Old people like Buicks though and has a very strong market. Pontiac on the other hand is not as popular as it use to be.

Sometimes its hard to tell about cars these days. A few years back I bought a new Dodge that was built in Mexico and my wife bought a new Toyota built in the US. Then you get into the the whole domestic content of the car debate.

Buick is an aspirational brand in China. China is now the world's largest car market now. Buick is safe because of that.

My wife and I rented a new Buick Lucerne for a recent 500 mile drive. It was the quietest, smoothest car I have ever driven.

That is really unfortunate.  My two preferred brands are Pontiac and Plymouth.

I have 5 Pontiacs and only one Plymouth.

Too bad.  That really sucks!!
