Why is it?
« on: April 24, 2009 - 05:12:01 PM »
Why is it that when you have plans when your on the road that the you get stalled in the airport?  I can not figure that out.  Was leaving cheyenne wy this morning got there for my flight and it had be cancelled, then finally got a flight and went up in the air and the captain came on and said there were technical problems with the plane and turned back to cheyenne then I finally got a flight that was over 2 hours late also and now I am sitting in Denver Co waiting on a plane that does not leave till late putting me home really late also.  going to be a short weekend for me now and sunday is my birthday and I hope it goes well with that also.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

You got that right and just got a call from my fiance and she has to work all day tomorrow and that sucks also.  O well sunday is my birthday and my daughters aniversiry also and maybe my new grand child will be born that day also.  I hope the plane dont get delayed tonight to go home.  I am ready to go back now.  I have an early flight on monday also to go out to Lackland AFB.  They are really looking forward to seeing me also.  I got a real good feedback from my new boss also today for what I am doing and my past year over in Iraq which was nice.

It is in San Antonio TX.  No water close that I remember except for the rain and snow that it did when I went through basic training there 31 years ago.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Holy cow Gordon! You're lucky you got out. You almost got sucked in to the Cheyenne black hole. :22yikes: :sly:

Happy Birthday for Sunday.    It would be a pretty neat gift for your grandchild to be born on your B-day. :grinyes:

Have a safe trip home and to Lackland.

The wife and I enjoyed having you over for dinner.
Don't look back, I might be gaining on you.

You got that right or when I got on the first plane it might have not gotten back.  I think it had an engine problem because it seemed really out of balance to me because it shook really bad and I think that is why we went right back at least I got out and the plane landed ok.

I had a good time and thanks for having me

I hope I get that birthday present of a new grand child for my birthday.  My daughter got married last year on my birthday and it would be much easier to remember all of the dates that way.  hehehehe

Oh, Chryco says I may get to grill moose burgers on my trip to Tumbler ridge. I just have to pull them out of my grill and bumpers on my truck
