Why's BIGS exploder squatin' so bad..
« on: April 24, 2009 - 11:24:35 PM »
Picked up some HEMI parts! Got a call from a good friend to call a buddy to talk to a guy. Seems the man was losing his storage space. He raced with his brother back in the late 60' s to mid 70's Some parts were never used. Some are for gas some are for alcohal. We made a deal, no I did not steal the stuff! It was getting late, so he said I should load up what I could and pick up the rest later. He said I looked honest  :eek7: and could pay him when I get the rest of it. (ok I sorta did steal the stuff) But I gotta go back, too many good parts still there!! Date coded block, ext mans, stuff. BTW when I got there, there was a new SRT Charger convert.. was told one of 6 made !
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

I'm glad you were able to find such an awesome chunk of parts. How many sets of heads did you get?

Nice score, BIGS!   Like that Hilborn scoop!

What's with a SRT Charger convertible? :clueless:  That's a 4 door?  Convertible?  :dunno:

:iagree: on the score - some interesting chunks of metal there.

I've seen a Charger convertible - I saw one on the freeway last week.  I figured it was a one-off custom job, but maybe not.  :dunno:  It looked pretty cool.

Next trip you might consider taking a man-truck rather than your soccer mom bomb.   :poopoke:

Thanks for the compliments guys! First off the exploder was workin' getn' those parts home. Second that's the FIRST load, the second load comes tomorrow. I honestly don't know all what I have, as this was an all or nothing deal. Wade I guess I desrved that  :eek7:  :roflsmiley:  Greg /Phil, ya it was a four door convert with (like) a roll bar between the seats. I found out later he was tring to play "pick an choose" on some parts. That just pi$$ed off the man selling the stuff!!  340, no small block stuff here , this is 10000000000% HEMI! But Ido have some 340/360 stuff at the shop. (all stock no high perf).  Once again I gotta thank my friend (who will remain nameless) for getting the ball rolling!  Stay tuned, more stuff coming, boxes to unpack, and a plea for help on identifying some of this stuff!  :2thumbs:  :2thumbs:
