Anyone seen this on a dart before?

I know this isn't an e bod but I picked up a dart this week, and was wondering if anyone has seen a hood like this before?

See them a lot more on deuce coupes than you do on mopars. But I think it looks pretty cool!  :2thumbs:

Yeah, I knew it was louvers, I guess what I meant was has anyone ever seen a hood like this on a dart before.  It's kinda cool cause its different, but I'm not sure I'll want it on there when the cars finished.

Haven't fell off yet.  :22yikes: Been on from time to time doing a lot of reading, and not much posting. Just been bad crazy around here.  Was looking to get to carlisle again this year, but not gonna make it. Maybe in another year or two.  :cheers:

 :iagree: And the'll let a ton of water in right on the motor when it rains. Louvers are best left for  50's era Hotrods and Industrial equipment.

Can't give an opinion without a picture of the whole car, with the louvres being visible.

Not my cup of tea but I'm sure it'll do wonders for cooling the engine compartment.  :grinyes:  Seen some custom cars in the 70's/low riders with those too.  Don't ever remember seeing a Dart with those.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

There's only one hood that looks good on an old Dart.


I've always liked those, but If I keep it, I'm gonna go along the lines of this, except b5 blue.....
