Leaking Holly

My buddy has a Holly (I believe it's a 750 DF) 4779 in his Cuda.  We were working on the electrical Saturday and noticed a leak in the rear of the carb.  We took it off and replaced both the diaphragms front and back but the rear is still leaking.  Any body want to venture a guess as to why.  If it's something simple or obvious we overlooked I'd rather not take it in for a rebuild.  I'm hoping someone here has experienced the same thing and has some tips.  Thanks in advance.

It could be the float setting is to high  , or the needle and seat has a little piece of trash in it and letting fuel slip past . This is considering that the float isnt the brass type with a hole in it. Most floats now adays are plastic. The brass one try to leak in the solder seam halves

I was thinking the float might be stuck, but i didn't think about it being damaged,  This just happened last week and it wasn't leaking before so I think that eliminates an issue with the setting.  I'll have to try to figure out how to disassemble it to get to the rear float to see if something's wrong there. Any idea where I can get some documentation (diagrams)?

it could be a simple as a torn bowl screw or a bad gasket between the bowl & block or the block & body any of which is easily replaced

Thanks guys, we found it, it was the rear input line.  You couldn't see it until it migrated all the way down to the bottom of the bowl.  Don't know how it loosened but tightened it and leak is gone.
