Forgive me if this is posted twice I'm new to computers as well as this list.
If the engine and trans can be removed from the bottom, can I change out the k-member from the bottom without removing the motor and trans.

Sure , you just need to support the engine from above either with a hoist or a support bar across the tops of the inner fenders.
