Help needed mounting a T/A spoiler?* Barry help!*
« on: April 28, 2009 - 09:33:13 PM »
Hello !
I need some help/ pictures mounting my T/A spoiler I just got from Dave at Roseville. It's a little scary drilling holes!
How do the screws on the ends mount? I only got 3 clip/screws for the end/sides ? Shouldn't there be 4? How far up the trunk does the spoiler go?
As the saying goes" a picture is worth a thousand words"
Thanks Brad

There should be 4 screws / clips for the outer mounting points;

Also, you may have to cut holes in the underskin of you do not have the right decklid with the four holes like this;

Hey Barry, I'm wanting to mount the front T/A spoilers now.  The spoilers I have have a straight end and a angled end. The straight end has 2 bolt holes in it.  Which end goes to the outside of the car? :dunno:
Thanks Brad

This is actually debated every so often. Since they were dealer installed, there are variences in how they were mounted. I have been looking for a set of the factory instructions to the dealers for YEARS with no luck so far.......  :walkaway:

Funny you should say that. I was looking at your site trying to determine how they go. Looks like either way by pictures on your site? LOL  I'll flip a coin!  :smilielol:

I installed mine with the back edge against the back edge of the valance with a 1.5" gap at the center of the valance, if that helps.
