I put on the front bumper brackets yesterday because my new elastomeric bumper showed up from Alhambra. The bumper is beautiful, but I'm having a fitting issue with the brackets hitting the inside of the bumper. So I may have to trim a bit of my brackets for it to fit. I'm really excited to get it painted and on the car. Has anyone had any experience with these bumpers? One of the holes lines up after a lot of work, but the others wont without some mod. Nice bumper though.

Thats the million dollar question! haha.. There's nothing more I've missed over the past years of the resto then cruising around with my Mopar buddies. There's a million car shows and cruises in our area and I've been riding shotgun. My 71 convertible has been in storage in need of breaks so I really miss driving with everyone. I have to drive this car.. a little. ha.

I had to grind the top edge of the bumper brackets get them to fit the bumper, especially the right angle portion of the bracket

I just received my carbs back from Holley!! I sent them to the Holly Custom Shop 6 weeks ago for a complete rebuild and restoration. They came out awesome.

Very nice work your doing on your cuda.  Glad to see the Holley carb turned out well.  I bought a Holley rebuilt carb for a customer car...thinking it would be a well built unit.  Turned out it was a total piece of s**t.  stripped out screws, jets loose, needle and seat not even tightened in place, nothing adjusted.  Had to complete disassemble and redo.  Never again.

The new date coded reproduction TA mufflers. I painted them with several coats of VHT flat black. We will see how that holds up down the road...?

 I have not checked the site for a while, man I love your car. I finally got mine back two weeks ago. It is great getting it back. I bought it in pieces and had it restored. It does have a few minor issues now since it was restored 9 years ago so I sent it to Mopars by Julius in Northridge to get some  paint  spots taken care of hopefully in time for Spring Fling. I drove it to his shop in Simi Valley. It ran great! I really am over joyed to get it back. You know before I found this one I also had a double blue AAR which I sold to keep this one. It was a 4 speed car with console. I really do love the blue interior but it was a non matching number car and this one became available and I dug the endura bumper option and since I am a blue freak on cars! Shoot me an email when you are coming to L.A. and I will give you details. I live in Burbank.

  I now want to put power steering in the car so in your resourceful endeavors if you come across the T/A box and arm give me a shout. You know I thought I had put it in this car originally but it turns out I had put the fast ratio in the other AAR. I watched two sell on Ebay a month ago thinking I already had it in this car. It sucks getting old!

A little more progress. I've been waiting for parts or correct bolts and whatnot to show up, so in the mean time I started putting things together in the engine compartment. The restored six pack looks amazing on the engine! The linkage is not hooked up yet but it's looking sweet.
