The B7 GC is a fellow CC.com member (oldbikertrash).  I confirmed with him that, yes indeed it is his car!  he said he scored a 993, and was amazed at the interest in his car.  The A/C is factory (standard on GC's), and all 383-4's that were not Magnum's (which had the bigger heads & bumped up cam) were turquoise, same as the 383-2. It is a super nice 23,000 mile car!  :drunk:

AAR Cudas hands down have the best graphic package of anything to hit the streets period.

The black out hood, strobe stripe, AAR graphic, everything about it just screams cool!

Awesome looking car,
Brian

Brian, that is exactly what attracted me to AAR Cudas when I was younger.l. In fact, my story behind this car and I will be featured in the collectors guide in The March issue, it hits the news stands in January I think.

Cool! I didn't know he was on here.. We had a good time at the show. I never heard what he scored, that's awesome. They are good people!

Wow Rudy what a beautiful car! Where in the world did you find such a nice V Code "project" car lol. I wish I could stumble across  a cool project car like that.   :2thumbs:

It's a great start that's for sure, only 42k miles. Ken who did my restoration knew of the car for some time now and I told him I was really interested. I had to sell my 68 Satellite to do the deal, thank goodness it all fell into place. I've loved Plum crazy all my life.. Later I'll post a pic of me standing on the hood of my dads plum 71 challenger convert, (back in 75)

Sounds like a great project! Reading your post made me think about a car I have known about for about 5 years now. A 70 Cuda 340 4 spd convertible, FC7 White top/interior. 1 of 88 I believe, and probably my favorite color combo to boot. Called the guy, he still has it but did a mediocre resto on it from the sounds of it. At first he told me $35, then later told me it wasn't for sale as he's owned it since he was in his teens. Close, but no cigar.   :2thumbs:

Man that sounds like a great car.. $35 sounded good in my opinion, but I bet he would want a lot more now since he worked on it. I still have a killer 71 convert in storage. It was my next project until I ran across the purple car. I have projects for life! I keep saying I'll buy the next one "done" but it s an addiction.. You see great potential in a important car, and it just drives you do do what you can to restore it. I guess it's better then putting money in the bank these days. That 70 4 speed sounds amazing.

$35k was the price as it sits today "restored" but he decided he really doesn't want to sell. I think he threw that number out there thinking it was high, when really I would have been there tomorrow with money if he was serious. lol

Couple new shots I acquired from the show.
Also learned that Musclecar Review is wanting to feature it possibly in a couple of months. I'm gonna freak out if this thing makes it into three publications, that's another childhood dream to get your car into a magazine someday, haha.

THIS economy is a stinker.  I still think that a fully restored AAR cuda or a TA challenger in perfect condition should be between 50 and 90 grand. You can buy a New RT challeneger for 35 these classics are 40yrs old and a hell of alot more rare. Don,t sell it ever, they are beautiful cars and yours is stunning.

thank you for the compliment!
I just watched a near perfect TA Chall bring 130k.... now it is in a collection of 500 cars. Over the top restos command more money then the average car.
I dont want to sell it, especially for 90 thousand dollars.. add a 1 in font of that and I might start thinking about it.. I really do not want to sell this car, it means way too much to me.
The guys that can buy high dollar museum pieces STILL have money today.
You will like my story next month in MCG, you will see why I went this far with it! I'd like to also ad that this site has been such a great experience, I am glad I joined it. I learned quite a bit on here.
