I finished this model a while ago. I still need to repaint the hood as it's not to my liking. Also have to install the photoetched hood pins. The engine compartment was pretty bare so I added some things from my parts box. Enjoy!!!

You did a hell of a job on that car!  I have the same kit stashed away here at the house.  I like the overspray on the undercariage.  Gives it the real look!  The paint looks awesome on it!  I know you spent a lot of time getting it just right!   

Way to go bro!  Im very impressed!  I got a Superbee I have been working on for 12 years.  I guess Im just taking my time.  Congrats to you bro!      

The only thing I would suggest is add spark plug wires, heater hoses from the block and generic wireing along the fire wall.

Thanks Don! I bought the kit back in March 2008. I started the kit around May 2008 or so. I put a lot of time into it. Interior tub is flocked (carpeting) and everything. I'm still teaching myself how to do spark plug wires

I used black thicker button thread for Spark Plug wires & wiring of differnt colors
 I have used needles for hood pins turn signal arms etc , I have even installed smaller steel wire for fuel & brake lines

    Looks great Cody. That's my second favorite model to do (71 Cuda--#1) .  I have'nt been doing much building lately as I am trying to get my car repainted by July or so. How's the latest diorama coming along?

Not bad. You do have a lot of orange peel in the paint though. Its drying too fast. The paint isn't getting time to lay down and smooth itself out.

A polishing kit with several grades of polishing papers would be all that it would take to get a mirror finish quickly!

Nice job!  models are great when you can't afford the real thing or don't have space for a real car.  (I have both problems!  )

I like models too.  The 2nd and 3rd pic in my signature is from a model I did.

The white letter tires on yours look very nice! Are they decals?
