Noob from DC
« on: April 30, 2009 - 03:07:17 PM »

Hello all.

Just been lurking on the boards for a little bit. Live in DC (actually in the city, not VA or MD)  I just got a 74 Challenger, base with the 318. Its a older restoration, body is in great shape, but I have a bit to do to get the engine up and running.  Previous owner painted it a slightly metallic purple color, with a cream/purple trim interior.  Eye catching to say the least.  I may be hitting up the technical boards and the parts section to get a few things.  If I can sell the LS engine I was going to throw into my CJ7, I will probably just use that cash to upgrade the engine.

anyways, good to be here.

-Eric

Welcome. Since you live in DC I have to ask you if you know anything about a 68 or 69 Satelite in that area. As you are leaving DC heading toward UMD there is a grayish (i think) satelite somewhere on the left with flat tires, have you seen it. Also I think I have seen a wingless Superbird around UMD.
