Second Mod
« on: May 01, 2009 - 07:05:15 PM »
I just ordered there Boss 338 wheels. I got them in gray for the old school look. I cannot wait to get them put on. First I need to get the R/T back from South Dakota. I'm going to do that next weekend as the flood stuff in almost done.

I was gone yesterday but got a phone message when I got home. The wheels will be shipped on Monday along with the lug nuts. He also said he was throwing in a set on locknuts with the deal.   :droolingbounce:

Ken,

A word of caution. It doesn't matter if you use the TPMS sensors from your other wheels or put in new valve stems, you will have to make sure they clear the brake calipers before you drive away. They will come INCREDIBLY close.

That was one of the questions I asked about and he said I would have no problems. He told me he has the same set on his car and the sensors transfer over fine. I hope he is right. Thanks for the heads up !

We are leaving at 6:00 Am to go to South Dakota to get the car. I have an appointment this afternoon to get the wheels put on. That is if all works out good for us. If not it will be on Monday.

They are getting put on as we speak. The shop called and said the gaskets ripped or broke when removing the TPS and they need to get some more. I'm just setting here waiting for the phone to ring.   :woohoo:
