I didn't like the 71 at first. I thought it was too messy. Slowly I grew to love it.

I first loved the 70 AAR, then the 70 Challenger, then I settled in on the 71 'Cuda.

I picked the most aggressive elements from the 70 and 71 (save for the 70 tail lights) and made a mishmash of it.

Cool video. Like going through a time warp. I loved the "drivers car" narrator.  Sounded like he came straight from either the dragnet tv show or a marlboro commercial.

Have liked all E body cars since first seeing pics of them in car mags in the seventies.Was only a teenager then and didnt think I would ever get to own one.
After working damn hard over the following three decades was in the fortunate position to be able to buy one.It had to be a 71.Just think that front end has killer looks.

Either way I like the 1971.

Honestly,  I was in high school when I found my car and I would not have any other.  1971 for me.

The quad healights were a silly attempt to make the car more attractive - like the Challenger.

It did not work.

I won a bet once because my 1971 had four headlights.  A friend of mine made a comment once that he liked Challengers better based soley on the fact that they had four headlights.  He was just trying to give me a hard time, so I made a bet with him that my car had four headlights and being a 'Cuda made it the best of both.  He called me an idiot and accused me of not knowing how many headlights where on my own car... until we rounded the front of my car and he saw with his own eyes.  I won $10 off the guy.

In michele video I didn't realize there were no 71 Gran Coupe Convertibles.

So the 71 Barra-cuda's and 70 Gr Cpe Conv. are rare one year.
