I had one just like that (keystones and all) that I sold in 79 or 80 for about $800!

Are the keystones still available anywhere? I had those same wheels on my 70.

What a shame!!  That sounds like the '70 R/T (SE possibly, I haven't seen it myself) that's just rotting away back near my parent's place. :'(

I think they are now under the Cragar name.  See second from the left.

It would be cool to see if it would start up.  Maybe ask the son/dad if you can try to help them get it started one day.  Who knows, it might inspire them to get it going.  :dunno:

This is the standard story here in NC. You could offer them a new house, fully furnished, PLUS the ten grand and it will still be

"We's gonna fix 'er up some day" or "That was deddy's car. We cain't sell it".

I've just about given up asking any more.

I also like "She run real good when I parked her there in 1983."

These are the people that give the hobby a bad name.  It'll get worse when the dad passes away and the sone now keeps it (in exactly the same condition) because his dad held on to it.

Knew a guy once in that very situation.  Neighborhood got on him about it being unsightly, so he built a building around it...never even moved the car to put it up.  Goes without saying that it was still sitting on the ground, rotting when all was done..
