Cat's on cars
« on: May 11, 2009 - 03:04:47 PM »
My father-in-law has been complaining about his cat getting on the cars for years.  We found this product (http://www.safepetproducts.com/scat-mat-for-cats-and-dogs.html) and it worked great.  It took about a week of training and the cat not only doesn't get on the Roadrunner and Crossfire in the garage, it won't jump on any of the cars in the driveway.

Our cat doesn't spend much time in our garage, but now with the new paint, I don't want it in there at all.  I'm currently borrowing his mats and have been 'training' our cat with great results.  Now I want the cat to spend more time in the garage to really send the message home.

The shock is really like a strong static discharge from carpet.  It's sort of satisfying too.  Am I evil for that?

I don't think you're evil, heck I'd just strip the ends of an extension cord and tape the bare ends of the wires to the car and plug the other end into the wall socket. Cheaper and more effective!! :smilielol: :roflsmiley: :smilielol:

If you liked the Evil Ka commercial for cats, you will like this one's solution to birds as well.

My understanding is that these were legitimate commercials Ford ran in Europe, but were quickly pulled.
