Several years ago a Cowtown Mopars member passed away at a way too young age.  Bob Cain was a long-time member of the club and had served as club President.  Bob's family has decided to have an estate auction to sell his cars and parts to the highest bidder, with only one car having a reserve.

The details of the auction still need to be sorted out (or provided if known), such as whether the parts will be sold individually or in lots.

Among the cars to be auctioned are:

1969 440 Six Pack Super Bee A12 car - restored (will have reserve)

1971 `Cuda 340 Shaker car - partially restored

1971 `Cuda 340 - project car

1971 `Cuda (340 ???... not sure) - project car

1964 Savoy Race Car - partially done car

1969 Road Runner 383 Coupe - project car

Here is a partial quote from an email sent by Bob's family:

Quote
I think the important features of the auction are as follows: Bob Cain Mopar Estate Sale, probably the largest private collection of Mopar Muscle Car parts in Texas, includes several project cars and parts to finish them, Cudas, Road Runner, and B body cars, complete (show ready) 6 pack Super Bee, engines, hoods, fenders, body trim, radiators, seats, trannys, and numerous B Body parts along with some Viper parts. Absolute auction with no reserves except for the Super Bee.

Mark your calendar: Saturday, May 30th.  Location near Saint Jo, TX, about an hour north of the Metroplex and exact directions to be given the week before the auction.  No pre-sale transactions will be permitted.

More details will be provided later as they become available.  Also, there is always a chance the auction will have to be rescheduled, but the date & location are considered firm AT THIS TIME...

******** DISCLAIMER ********
I am posting this to help the family sell the collection, and to give those people interested in attending/bidding a chance to make arrangements.  I have no financial interests or other connection to this auction.  I may attend and even bid on some parts... not sure at this point.

I agree... maybe not the best time to sell, but I am sure they will bring some good coin.

There is a lot of 1970 & 1971 `Cuda parts in the inventory... including rare items like front & rear Elastomeric bumpers.  Also some 1970 Challenger parts like doors from a Convertible...

The auction was held yesterday, but I did not go due to injuries from a fall.  Several friends did go...  a lot of good buys like the B5 Shaker car at about $12K.

A few pics taken by a friend...
