Well I always heard people say" it looks sinister in black " I can now say it's true. I gotta problem with the trunklid tho', it oil canned when I welded a 1/8 inch rod on the forward edge to take up the gap. Hmmm, may have to shell out for a new trunklid. Oh well it was a little rusted and had been hit and pushed in, Probally better to start out fresh.

Looking good, Nick!

It has been so hot and humid here I have not really been able to do to much work in the garage. I did paint the front bumper brackets. I must have stared at the 7 on the bracket for about 10 minutes before I realized what it was. I wonder if I should put the "7" back on the newly painted brackets.

I cut out the A pillar and test fitted up the AMD A pillare replacement. I did not even clean up the leftover spot weld bumps and it still fit right on. Good job AMD !

I fitted the AMD trunklid and it was spot on.  I also installed a new hood. Fit was good also after I did the 2x4 trick. So progress is being made

I finished up the a pillar install. I must say not bad for an old man. The factory lines are pretty true on this piece, and it was a synch to install.

I also took some pics of the new hood, and that lines up pretty good also. I can see the light  at the end of the tunnel as far as metal work is concerned. Now that big train light called block sanding is what I see now.

Heres the pics now.

It was a sad and glad day, Off to the body shop went the challenger. I stripped it to bare metal and watched it get loaded on the flatbed. I could not even get a clear picture as it drove down the street. A little sad i guess. But glad because come spring time I am getting back a nice flawless and shiny painted car.
Then its a mad thrash as I get it finished in time for Carlisle.

Here is some of the bodymans work http://www.flickr.com/photos/zombieschopshop/

Uploader full so pictures later.
