JAckie,
Your daughter has some serious talent. Is she considering art as a career? It taks a lot to capture a likeness, and it's really tough to capture proportion. Shelby did a great job. B
oth my wife and I are artists- I am an applied artist, and my wife is now an art teacher. It takes a good instructor to hone the subtlety of the student's talent. Quite obviously, she has a good instructor, and a good art program. I am glad to see that people still take art seriously.
"On a serious note, I have a ruptured disk between L4 and L5 that has my sciatic nerve almost completely pinched going to my right leg, is your problem anything similar to this or totally different? I read in your other post that you had broke your back a long time ago and I assume it is related to that. Have you had an MRI? I have learned some exercises and stretches that help me a lot. Could pass them on if you'd like"
I had the same thing last August it was MISERABLE!!!! I ended up having a few shots of Lidocaine/Cortizone (Which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to help control the discomfort. I know above all, that you will get past this. My back still gives me trouble, but after a great deal of careful stretching, PT, and excercise, it is healing.
I used a vibrating heat massager to help loosen it up, Ice to stop the swelling, anti-inflammatory meds to keep it at bay, and pain killers for when it was too much.
best,
Dan
