    Looking for the emergency brake foot pedal return spring...mine appears to have sprung.  LOL

    I may or may not need other e. brake parts inside....I think they are all there though....the spring is just dangling there, broken.... :hyper:

    Do you have a Tractor Supply near you?... They have a large assortment that I'm sure one could be adapted.

    I went to a local hardware store that sells all sorts of springs but none were close enough.... :banghead:

    Nearest tractor supply store is a good 45 minutes away....but not a bad trip on the bike...   :bigsmile:

    Be easier to just buy the "right" one though....

    Old thread – but, need to know

    Shadango-
    Were you able to locate a Cuda Parking Brake Pedal Spring?
    I’m completely missing the spring.  Explains why I had to pull the pedal upwards by hand.

    I’ve looked at Roseville, E-Body Products, Mega Parts, etc; No luck
    If a new spring isn’t available, I guess I’ll be going to Pull-a-Part tomorrow

    I was never able to find the spring apart from a whole assembly either.

    I was blessed enough that a member here (Shelbydogg) helped me out and fabricated one for me.....used one from the hardware store and bent it for me.  It has worked ever since.  :)

    Thanks for the update.  That was rather cool of Shelby Dogg to fabricate the ever elusive spring.  I don’t have one to pattern after.  Looks like a trip to the salvage yard.

    D^mn!   I use photobcket for everything and I must have thought that those pics would not be needed again, so I quicky attached them.   I'll try to update the pics if I find my extra parking brake assembly.

    RB2929,  If you paypal me the $5 Priority Mail postage, I'll send you one.  If not, once you see a picture, you can easily bend one up yourself with a longer spring, 2 vice grips, and some SAFETY GLASSES.
