Well, I was more than pleased with the engine bay paint job!! I picked up the car yesterday. I hadn't dealt with this body shop in years but they painted my Barracuda MANY years ago and did a super job. They are still top notch in my book. Engine compartment looks much better now than the rattle can flat black that it was. Now I've got to install new wiring (UGH!!) and try to install the new monster (543) and try not to tear up the new paint!
It's still not show quality as there's a lot not correct, but may win a local show or two when done!! Definitely an improvement. I wouldn't have forgiven myself if I had installed the new motor and not had the engine compartment painted!!
