A friend of mine has a 1984 318 police interceptor motor and I was wondering if there was anything special about them? Head casting number is 4323345

Not really...it have a decent top end thanks to the 360 heads but the compression is very low and the cam not too hot. But different pistons-I believe you can now find 10-1 compression pistons for a 318 and a better cam would go a long ways. Need to gear it up and rev up that little motor...I have a 318, 360 head (with 2.02 intakes) and 3.91 gears in back and a low 2.74 1st gear...it revs fast..right to 6400-6500 rpms, nice and clean...surprises many-even me  :smokin:
