I don't really like it either, seems that it makes the front end seem too short and the whole car look "stubby"
Personally I think that the front end is too short anyway on the new Challenger. That doesn't mean I don't want one though

I think that the way the windshield looks is the problem.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I like the lines on that one a lot better than the other convertibles I have seen. At least the top mechanism does not infringe on the bodyline like the others. I would love to have a B5 or red one with a white top and interior

I like it and  :iagree: that it is a much better looking attempt than the others that have been released, the only things i would do is change the hood to a Shaker hood, of course, and make sure that convertible top tucked away so you can not see it like the originals were with a cover on them, and make the windsheild frame have covers in stainless like the original convertibles have, i think this feature would lift the whole look of the car personally. :2thumbs:

I think it would look better with some chrome of some sort on it.  Just looks too bare in my  :2cents: around the windshield.  It does look good.

I'll go up to bat again here.   :22yikes:

When I first poo-pooed the wheels, I didn't understand going with a chrome gas cap, then black wheels.   :screwy:

Chrome wheels would work better if you want chrome accents. It would be neat if they had some chrome trim around the windshield too. Ahh, I'm so stuck in the 70's.   :grinyes:

Dang, I thought it was impossible to screw up a new Challenger, but someone did. That thing is ugly. Also, my personal opinion, for what it's worth, is all new cars hoods are too short for a shaker, just don't look right.  :stirpot:
