Favorite Challenger Hood?
« on: May 19, 2009 - 06:04:12 PM »
What is everyone's favorite?

I have a Shaker setup on the Dodge right now, but I'm considering hanging it up in the garage and going with a T/A hood.  I like the look, but it's a pain everytime I need to get to the carb.   A buddy even called me nuts for even thinking about pulling off the Shaker, but I'm a man of function over form.

I prefer the shaker by the looks but I would not want to live with one. Looks like it is way too complicated but the looks of it are awesome.

I like them all, I wouldn't toss a Shaker out of bed for sure...  But I like the T/A best.

I have the T/A look, but I don't think I would trade the shaker look for it.   :2cents:

The R/T and all the hoods beyond the flat conjure the image of power bulging to get out.  :burnout:

I agree , the shaker Looks cool , but it is a pain + I know it is restrictive as the scoops are too small to properly feed a large engine

There’s no denying that the lines on the R/T hood are a real work of art, beautiful right out of the box! But I also love the T/A hood, it has a real bad A$$ no nonsense look about it!
