Hang on to it with both hands. They are the blueprint of your car. I sure wish I could find the one for my car and its just a 318 car.

I just read the mcg article and from what i got was the guru s in damage control  :roflsmiley: .get your free build sheet but no discount on the 3800.00 to have some guy tell you that your cars a car . the only thing the guru can be sure of is how many cars existed in his own records and nothing about what he hasnt seen, this is the best snake oil sell i have ever seen .the best part is how many gullible folks fell for this deal over so many years and the best part is he really doesnt lie just  lets the customer think he has a one of something uncertain . so lets move on and find a newer and greater guru and keeper of the faith . or we can just post our build sheets here on the greatest mopar site ever . :2cents:

Thing I respect about Barry is that he has as much knowledge of these cars as the guru (IMHO), maybe more and he shares it freely.

Seriously though, I saw a need for something to be done so I stepped up to the plate. I did know that Galen has been collecting items & giving them out to the owner - if the car owner registers with him. I had always wondered how cool it would be to see a complete list of all he has. So, when I got into it, I set it up that way so folks can search for their own VIN. I have no interest in running a registry for all models the way Galen does. The one exception I make is for the "found" items that people send in. Just with the registries I have taken on so far takes an incredible amount of time & money, so I have set limits about how much to take on.

I had originally hoped to share my personal library by actually having a library folks could visit to do their research. It became easier to share it over the internet. The effort also snowballed big time as other folks started scanning their collections for the library as well. Doug Hammer  (he is a member here) has an incredible amount of time invested in adding to the HH library.


I would like to address a few things mentioned above here as well.

Actually I did find one sheet and didn't send it to Barry. But he knows I have it.

I know where you keep your beer too Ken. I bet I can liberate the sheet & all your beer the next time I visit you.  :bigsmile:

So here's a Q for Barry, do you have the knowledge/contacts that GG has? It seems that if you get GG to bless your Mopar it somehow makes the car more valuable, at least "documented". Could/would Barry be able to do this service? Would he have any interest? Jsut being curious


Personally, I have no intrest in documentiong cars. I do not know what any person could say about a car to make it more valuable either. I have no clue what contacts or knowledge are common to both of us. He knows more specifics about more models that myself for sure. While I like most Mopars, I have no intrest in researching a lot of them. I would rather research the cars & assembly plants that interest me & get very good at those specifically.

All that said, there are countless people that have helped me help others over the years. Pat yourselves on the back folks, Mopar people are the best people.  :wave:

I will continue to do what I can, when I can, for as long as I can. I would like to thank everyone for their trust, that means a lot to me. There are some folks in the hobby that have shown they can not be trusted, so I avoid them. Trust can be a fragile thing, I respect it greatly. Lots of folks here have helped me out in other ways as well, thanks for that too.
