Car covers- what do you guys know about them?
« on: May 20, 2009 - 11:21:56 AM »
I am picking up a new project (69 Dart Western Sport Special) which will need to be stored outside. What kind of car cover do I need to assure this thing is protected? Have you guys any experience with covers, good or bad? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money if it isn't beneficial. Thanks.

I believe we have discussed covers before, I will look for the thread, I use Budge ( spelling) but my cars are stored inside.

If I were you, I'd buy an outdoor car cover for it and then possibly buy a cheaper tent canopy shelter. That's what I plan on doing with my Charger until the new garage is built at the new house.

The "stormweave" is a great car cover. It takes a torrential downpour to get under it, but it's breathable so the water will evaporate.  DON'T use a tarp.   :nono:
