Thanks everyone.

Once I'm in his car to see where my route is this Monday morning then I'm working again. Until then anything could happen. but I hope not for my sake.

The guy that beat me the first time on getting hired over me quit 3 weeks later because his Dad was diagnosted as terminal illness.

So far so good. He sent me a reply e-mail today.

Excellent. I have been out of town for a couple of days without my laptop. Everything is a go on my end. We are going to meet on Monday at one of our accounts yards in Fremont at_______ in Fremont. The cross street is _____. This is a secondary yard of______ Towing so there is no office there. If you arrive early just hang on till I get there. Jeans or long pants and a Polo or button down shirt is good. I call it business casual. Bring the info we discussed over the phone. My cell # is--------. I am looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial business relationship with you.
Thanks and see you Monday.

My Boss and I get along great. Today I was out in Stockton, ground zero of the house repos. Been seeing some interesting cars. Today a 67 Pontiac vert Firebird. One Mopar I saw, a 72 NewPort Custom. Had a neat looking grille almost like a 71 Cuda somewhat. Would make a neat custom C Body slammed with chromeys all around. But I also see alot of fatal car wrecks too. Pretty awlful looking.  :violin:
Drive safe out there.

I'm still bangin cars out.  I love this job.
I'm already doing about 300 a week average and thats considered slow.

Saw a cherry body, no rust, straight as an arrow, 70 Maverick today that will be available pretty soon. The tow yard owner said he'd let it go for 2 grand. It would be a perfect car for Cuda guy since it's the same color...If he wanted a Ford.

One tow yard I was at last week the owner had a 69 B5 Hemi Road Runner there. Driving home a 71 vert Challenger on the side of the road.

I'm running into some nice iron out there.

I could start a thread if you guys are interested called Finds of the week. I have to ask if I can take any pics. I'm on camera at some yards.  :picture: So out of courtesy I need to ask first if I can take a pic.

Today I'm going to a yard in Richmond and there's a Pontiac Tempest that ate it while racing. There's not one good part on the body. Must've rolled at least twice at high speed. Had a really nice paint job on it. I can't even count how many stolen Hondas I've seen so far. Burned cars? I see at least 2-3 per day.

Right now I'm still adjusting and organizing also. Once all my stops get used to me and vice versa, I'll ask if it's OK if I could take any pics of cars I like for the forum.

Lien sales representative of course.

I gotta show you all these pics of these cars I'll see on this Friday. There's a canal that runs water from N. Ca to L. A. It runs out near Stockton. Stolen cars get tossed into the drink. There's 4 or 5 just pulled out last week. The towing fees are almost 3 grand each to fetch them out.

A few cars today seen on my route.

First one: Power Wagon. Could be available for sale shortly.

Next: 69 Dart 318 A/T. Very clean, white and green Int. He told me $6,500.00 is what he wants for it.

His Co worker owns the Impala. Really nice and unique car. Not for Sale.
