A few cars today seen on my route.

First one: Power Wagon. Could be available for sale shortly.

Next: 69 Dart 318 A/T. Very clean, white and green Int. He told me $6,500.00 is what he wants for it.

His Co worker owns the Impala. Really nice and unique car. Not for Sale.

That Power Wagon is AWESOME! I love it.  :2thumbs: Any idea what the price may be?  :money:

I spoke to the father of the owner so he didn't know what he wanted for it.

Take a good look at that picture. How could you even get behind that spare to get your key in the trunk to open it?   :dunno:

Great engineering.

Theres a car show I see every once in a while on Sundays I think called...Trucks?

The guy on the show took one of these PW's and beefed it up all over. Then painted it black. What a great car hauler to shows it would make.

I think it is made to hinge downward Mike, which would make it even harder to access the trunk compartment  :dunno:.................I never liked them either, just some 50's style bling I suppose.

Cars I see on my lien sales route

Some more pics on my route.

First pic is the Hayward Chrysler dealership that went up last spring. Supposedly from vagrants living inside.

Second pic is what I believe was a "Hot" chevy truck. This thing was one of the most hottest fires I've seen so far. I've seen quite a few every week.

Last one: 3 of the canal stolen cars cars got picked up since last week by the Ins companies. One of them was a brand new Escalade. This is one of the 2 left I saw today. It doesn't look that bad in the pic. But when you see these just out fresh, your jaw almost hits the ground.

I couldn't believe it when they told me today there was a 61 Corvette Convertible to Lien. I ran out there and this is what i found.

Someone has just got to be crying.  8-1 was when it caught on fire.
It looked like it started somewhere near the battery/ bulkhead connector.

Yuck, that is sad. Might as well flip it over and make a push broom out of it.    :(

That is strange, all that fire and it apparently never set the tires on fire, must have been a head wind blowing everything to the back? Sad, someone's expensive toy melted down.

One month later and I run into my first E Body in a Tow yard. 440 6 pack.
These guys know what they're worth so this one wasn't for sale or to lien.

I spied it in the back covered up at a One Stop Tow yard. (means it's a Low Volume, occasional Liens) It was located in a very rough area in Oakland.  :villagers:

Most of the Zombies were asleep during the daytime so I was somewhat safe in that neighborhood. I kept my tail moving when I drove into that part of town and out of it.  :burnout:

Pretty nice looking 71, how long wonder it has been sitting there? The car looks pretty good shape and the engine obviously either has been just been rebuilt or freshened up. The engine and firewall looks real clean but yet the drivers side inner fender looks like some driving time since it was cleaned.  Nice car for sure.  :2thumbs:
