Can I just pry this off?
« on: May 23, 2009 - 06:28:42 PM »
Is this just a cover for the idle set screws on my six pack center carb, or is this some goofy new type of screw itself?
I think I should be able to just pry it off to get to the idle screws beneath it, but I would like a confirmation before I manage to wreck a brand new center carb.

yes you can just pry it off , it is a limiter allowing less than 1 turn with it on

Thanks Chryco,  I kind of figured that but I haven't bought a "new" carb in so long that I had never seen one of those.
Should I bother to put it back on when I finish tweaking the carb?
