Another newbie from Down Under
« on: May 23, 2009 - 09:07:36 PM »
 :aussie:
Hello boys/girls,
I have been a long time quest of this forum and finally decided to join so i can share my knowledge of mighty mopars.
I have just finished restoring my 70 Challenger R/T. In fact i only just started the awsome 426 Hemi for the first time a few days ago. Yes, that's right, Hemi crate engine to which i fitted a StageV dual quad manifold with two 600 Edelbrocks, TTI headers. By the time i ran the cam in it has rattled every spanner off the walls and have not seen a spider since. I LOVE IT! My neighbours only just started to talk to me again.(some people just do not understand what it is to own a hemi).
I have fitted a Keisler Engineering modified TKO600 with hydraulic clutch kit, 3.9 geared 8.3/4 posi diff, full chassis kit with tubular control arms, huge sway bar. Everything has been replaced with new or aftermarket components. It is Sublime with the black T/A hood and rear wing.
I will post photos soon as i figure out how to do it.
Cheers,
Chris.

Welcome to the site Chris and sounds like a great ride. Post some pictures as soon as you can so we can all check out your Challenger RT.

Welcome to the site.  There are two ways to post pics. If you only have the pictures on your home computer, you can click on Additional Options below the reply pane and then use the Attach command like you would any e-mail attachment - just be careful about the size.  640x480 works well.

Or, if you use a hosting site like Photobucket, you can link to them by clicking the image button above the smilies (first button, second row, below the B button) and then pasting the URL for the picture in between the image commands (img]   [/img]).  This is the best way to go about it because it saves server space - the Admin has to go through the server periodically and delete old photos.  You'll find lots of older posts with broken picture links from attachments.

Hope this helps. Because  :useless:  :smilielol:  :2thumbs:

Welcome to the site, Chris!  Very nice job with the restoration on your Chally!!! :2thumbs:  As for your question about posting multiple photos in the same response, just click the "+ additional options", choose your first attachment "Browse" (search your computer for it), then just keep clicking "(more attachments)" until you have enough paths for the amount of photos you'd like to post (limit of 10 photos or 3 MB per post).
