Awesome job!
I love the layout with the L-shaped planter. Excellent choice!
What material did you use for your deck?
Do you have to put rails up, or are you not required to?

BTW- I have had many different beers in my day, and I don't recognize that brand.
It looks like some mighty fine brew. Is it local?

Hey guys,
The decking is Western Red Cedar. No handrails are required here if the deck is within 26" of the ground.

I have another one to do yet too.....

The beer is Widmer Hefeweizen out of Portland, OR. It is one of my favorites.

So far I have plenty of work here to last me, but I am planning on moving east once this place is done & sold.

I have seen enough water lo last me a lifetime. I am looking at rural PA. An old farmhouse with a barn on a few acres would be ideal when the time comes.

Looks very nice Barry, how long can you expect the red wood to hold up to the planting soil and water before it begins to deteriorate? I know it is a very durable wood but was curious about that. Real nice job.

The planter itself is made of treated wood, so are the joists, so it should last 20-30 years. Only the decking is cedar.
