If thats the case then I feel truely sorry for those guys, however that would make them the biggest idiots alive to have a business and rare cars with no insurance. I own a small independent repair shop and I have a 1 million dollar policy that cost less than 2k a year to maintain. My Cuda is covered for 10k+ more than its worth for $232.00 a year.  Again you would have to be a moron and irresponsible not to have your business and collectables covered. :screwy: :nono: Something smells fishy here!!! :dunno:
well put ,but if the shop doesnt have insurance and would have customer cars on property the best thing to do is not have ins ,the reason is it forces a customer to have his own insurance after all its his car . no lawyer will take a case with no huge gains ,in the end a shop is in safe mode i see most shops have a sign that says NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS there not joking . its the insurance that a lawyer goes for and the insurance  co goes after the shop so the shop can end the issue from the start no insurance. not insuring your own cars is kinda dumb ,but many colectors dont insure cars but do have a building and contents package for the same reason as the shop ,it helps hide the cars from lawyers and other get rich low lifes .most folks here on cc dont have more than one car but if you look at the big players they become dealers and leave the cars in open title this makes it hard to track the cars so if a owner gets in personal trouble the cars fall through the cracks even trophy wives dont have a clue what hubbys got if he drops dead .my cars are so deep in paper that i dont even own a car if i insure i have a trace value . my whole point is a fire is the lesser of evils i.e. wives lawyers people scaming you like oops i slipped and fell give me your cars ,its much to deep to even guess what really happened here .  :2cents:

I think that last reply is the most well put and thought out. Seems reasonable.

If I'm reading hebe's post right, I think your refering to a garage keepers liability policy. Here it would cover customers cars, but NOT my own.
