    My 543 stroker is on deck for the first time firing on th engine dyno. Was supposed to be last week, but may happen this weekend. I am excited. I'll probably pee on myself when I hear it run!! Just got my Firecore wires today!! :woo: :woo: :woo:

    Well I found out I will be at king williams va for a week, and then somewhere around roanoke for about 9 days then around Monterey Mexico.  Then a few weeks off.  My break time sure goes fast. I leave monday afternoon after I go see the doctor.

    It takes a lot of time & $$ & a lot of thinking things out to get the engine together to do exactly what you want it to & there is simply no feeling like it when it starts for the first time & works out right  :2thumbs:

    Hey Alan,
    King William is just outside of Richmond VA. About a 2 hour drive from where my crib be at. Maybe one day during your stay we could meet each other 1/2 way. I'd spring for a steak dinner. Maybe Chris (71challengerSE) would tag along. He's just around the corner from me.  :bigsmile:

    Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

    Gordon, they are flying me out to Morteray Mexico after roanoke job.  I dont want to actually do anymore flying , and there is some violence going on down there right now.

    Maniac, I will be doing very long hrs and will be worn out. I may get some of friday off, but might not be able to travel much after work. 12-14 hr days wears me down pretty fast.  I will see how it goes when I get there. I missed meeting Thedodgeboys in Mo because of scheduling and long hrs :banghead:

    I completely understand Al. I think if I did a 14 hour day, the only think I would want to see would be a shower and a cool pillow!! :cooldancing: Be safe and have a good trip. I hope you're able to get the Challenger!! :2thumbs:

    When I went down there we drove down from Texas and that was about 8 years ago.  Just think of all of the flying I will be doing this time.  I dont really like it but better than driving some times.
