Dont know about the hood came with the car. I dont like it myself but its free and i could rework it. gonna start looking for steel hood soon.

finished the carbon fiber overlay for gauges .. not sure if i like it though. maybe it will fit better when surround by dash and panels. also refinished fuel tank, sanded, epoxy primed and painted a fairly close galvanized look. well im off to AZ tomorrow and will try to hook up with AZ nick, get my Dash Pad ordered and shipped. Then go christmas shopping at Harbor Freight. lol, wish we had one in Hawaii.

i have a 4 spd console plate that has the carbon fiber made on to it,,thinking about selling it if your interested,,its new,,i am putting mine back to wood grain

Little update: Got new dash pad, headliner, window seals all thanks to AZ Nick (thanks again nick)
got new brake lines and brake hoses last week so finished the rear axle up. also removed front clip and body worked upper and lower valance and finished body and paint on trunk lid. got my new satel front floor pan patch thats complete and interior floor has been por 15 and seam sealed.
gonna redo wiring harness this week and start installing interior to make room for motor removal.. to many parts everywhere cant walk lol
Can anyone tell me where this piece of insulation goes in my last Pic? thanks

Happy Labor Day weekend. few small updates, got all ebay insulation and installed it. also fabbed a mount plate for the amp in trunk and a block off plate for blower motor. (saving up money for some vintage air) talked the wife into climbing in trunk and test fitting and wiring amp and speakers. gonna bedline trunk here in the next few weeks.
stereo sounds great lots of bass. rattles the trunk rod though so i had to insulate rod with a piece of rubber hose.

small updates as the few months leading to 2010 have been hectic. got the motor back and finished most of the engine bay, crossmember has been blasted and repainted, waiting on brake and fuel lines. heres a few small picture updates.

finished the engine bay today.. had to macgyver a paint booth for the garage out of an old tent we had laying around. worked great and kept the dust out

thanks all appreciate the comments. seems like my whole project is Macgyver.. low on cash so make do and refinish.. ..now only if i could find that paperclip and bailingwire so i can make a six pack!
