Well, I put the front bumper on today....till I can get a chrome one it is black....

But thought I would post some pics.

I have actually seen cars with a black front bumper, and a chrome rear.

The look might grow on you.

Its just a (really rusty) original bumper.....closeup it still has some dings and pits...I used bedliner spray to see what it would look like.

I needed the bumper on for insurance and state pics....so what the heck. Will run it till I can swing a new bumper....

Too much other  stuff right now that needs $$$$$....like exhaust....LOL

What color is that, limelight?
Cant decide between that and the darker sassy grass, but sometimes, depending on the light, I have a hard time telling them apart.

The original seller (also a bodyshop) was calling it sublime but also called it limelight......

It has pearl in it rather than metallic, so I think its limelight........

I do have a bit of the paint left over he gave me (enough for touchups I guess)...I may go and have some paint made up using that stuff as the match.....just in case.......at some point, if the spending on other stuff ever stops...LOL

I think limelight for plymouth and sublime for dodge were the exact same color. Just different names to differentiate the nameplates. Back in those days they were sold at competing dealerships.

Thanks! Actually, the bumper looks better in the pics than in person....   Its a 15-20 footer, as far as the bumper goes, IMHO.

Very nice looking car!     Having owned a 70 Limelight 'Cuda and seeing a 70 Sassy Grass T/A up close they are different but at night or on an overcast day I could see them being confused as the same color.

    you are very right about the light thing...in the sun the Green Go seems to pop out but in low light it is kind of BLa!..check out this low light pic and one on a sunny day..does not look like the same car!!   .. Matt

Have you ever considered fiberglass bumpers? Thats what i have on my AAR now. I put them on just until i could get mine rechromed and thats been about 5 years ago  Ido like the black bumper on the front though

the black bumper does look good to me as well.
