Okay - after re-shooting the car last weekend, I took most of the week off from the car. Had the exhaust put on it but a guy around the corner from me. He fabbed an awesome mandrel bent system for it.  I'll post some pics of it on his rack later in the week.

I then spent Friday night and Saturday wet sanding and buffing it.  It looks f'n SWEEET in the sun now.  I've still got to hit it with some micro fine but it really is coming together nicely.  My goal is to have it done by next Saturday...

BTW - MY customer came by today and he LOVES it. He's extremely pleased and cannot wait to start showing her off.  He even wants me to make a plaquard stating that I did all of the work on it  :icon16:

Some more pics - getting really close to wrapping it up. Should have the wheels and tires for it early next week, so she'll be hanging around for a few more days.

Few underside shots - still a few minor details to tend to. It will be leaving my shop this Friday...  Next up, my bosses '92 Z28 needs some paint work...

Well, had a guy come by last night to buy some stripes for his '73 Duster, and the first thing he said was, "WHO painted that car?"  I said, "I did."  He was shocked and asked how much I would charge to paint his Duster. He said the body work will be 100% done and all I will need to do is sand it, shoot it, and buffit. Long story short, he'll be bringing the Duster up here possibly this weekend or definitely by next weekend  :cooldancing:  It's going Sub-Lime with hood black out treatment and black vinyl roof (which he is going to have me do as well)
