That Mustang Oranage (if thats what it is) is another hot colour, but I don't think it will go on a Challenger.
But who knows. Gotta have some black with it tho.

Black is very hard to shoot, but well worth it if you get the right painter and bodyman to do the job. most are reluctant to shoot black because it shows every little detail. My Challenger was the one with the t/a hood the other with the shaker is from a neighboring city.

Dutch,

you da man! I have been watching your thread, and that's what turned me on to the color.
Just awesome!
Why do I make  it so complicated?

Dutch,

I looked up the PPG paint codes for the Butterscotch paint. All they list is DBU code, not DBL- did I get that reversed?
Anyway, my guys in the paint shop can't cross reference the old codes in the system.
Would you mind telling me how or where to get the formula?

Best,

Here is what a Challenger looks like with Butterscotch. Its not quite the same color as the Mustang, not quite as much pop imo but close.
1971 Challenger (OO==== ====OO) getting close!
1970 Challenger (OO########OO) long ways off

Mine is not butterscotch, it`s way more orange...   I could get you a paintcode.

Thanks guys!

I have decided on S.S Flame Red The wife did not like the idea of going white. I kinda agree.
The Flame Red- Its nearly identical to the Rosso Rubino. Here's the kciker. A buddy of mine has a gallon of it leftover from a project, so he said he'd sell it to me at a decent price.
The car goes in about a week and a half to paint the interior, engine bay ( ALL)and inside firewall.

This will be one wicked push to get it to start up by the Woodward Dream Cruise... :grinyes:
