:o 8) ;) :) ;D Great setup! What do you do for your motor mounts? Are you going with a plate or elephant ears or? Also, does this setup give you extra room for headers? It looks like it does. One more question, how hard is it to get in and out of the car with the roll cage? I'm considering some of those things for my Challenger, probably dumb questions but still need to know. Thanks!!  :)

Going to be using front motor plate and a midplate. The Alterkation set up does away with the tors. bars , alot more room for headers.
As for the roll cage I installed pin type bars you just pull the pin and the bars swing out.  The Q's you have are not dumb I enjoy talking about this stuff. Of course I do not know everthing either but, I'am  sure between myself and everbody on this board we can help you figure it out !
Pics of the cage. look at the pin.

:o Nice! I like how you beefed up the floor area and tubbed it in. I haven't decided on how I am going with mine and you are helping a great deal. I am really thinking seriously about the AlterKtion chassis as it cleans up a lot of items. Does it have a high ratio steering box or similar to stock Mopar or what? Can I just hook my steering up to what they provide and not have to modify much on the column? I read one of your replys about you having to shim or something. My engine has been dyno'd 560 hp 591 fpt 500 CID stroker and I need to decide the best way to go for the street. Anyway, nice looking job, that is going to be awesome!  Thanks 1BH ;D

The AlterK. will eliminate all you header issues. As for the steering, its man. rack and would be close to the high ratio mopar box. I put a bearing in the end of the steering column housing to take the slope out of it. The system is easy to install the only thing you have to do is remove the upper and lower bump stop brackets.
In my opinion its the best peice on the market for street use right now. You can also order spool mounts  that way you do not have to install  a motorplate.
Let me now if I can be of anymore help.

I will post a pic of the steering column bearing.
  Good luck,   Dave
