Hemi hybrid Aspens and Durangos were out last year and are already discontinued. The toyota tundra 5.7 is a toyota engine. It would suck to see the Hemi go away.
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

Who here has a mopar that doesnt have at least one china made part on it . it gets old seeing every one here talking buy american ,and all i have to do is look at the avatars and wonder how much of our cars are now chinese .

Yes,I bet we all have something in our possesion made in China-it`s almost impossible not to these days. That dosen`t mean a lot of us try hard to buy American whenever possible when there is an option.

In a short amount of time 5-6 years we will have one American car company and it will be Ford the only company smart enough not to get into bed with the Goverment.

We will buy cars from China,Korea and other countries Ford will be left with trucks. Hell Hummer just went to China.

I have seen the future boys and girls and thanks to the self centered, egomanics in Washington and the population that cares more about American Idol than freedom it looks like this..

I love how so many think they can predict the future-so can you please tell me what tonights Powerball numbers are?  ::)

I could but I promised them to my Grandmother who has worked hard all of her life and has now been told by the Goverment that her medicare that she has payed into for her entire life has run out and she won't be getting the operation she needs to save her life.
The health Czar told her she was old anyway.

I just read where 2/3rds of the "stimulus" money has been spent on social programs.  What happened to all the "boots on shovels" jobs that were to be created.

Anyone that thinks government is the answer is mistaken.

Bush had 8 years to do something about it but was too busy spending billions on wars.

Bush had 8 years to do something about it but was too busy spending billions on wars.

Nobody wants to touch it. It might mean they lose a vote.

January 1st 2010 A cap will go into place limiting the amount a Medicare part B recipient can recieve for therapy service. This is a whole lot of people. If you think not just ask your Mom and Dad or your Grandparents if the have Medicare. The cap is set at 1840.00 So good luck to the elderly that need that hip or knee replacement or God forbid they have a stroke.
After paying into the system all of there lives the money will not be available.
This is when the Health Czar comes into play ( which Obama has appointed) and will deciede who is eligible for treatment. God bless the elderly because nobody is watching out for them.

Sorry for the rant I realize none of the geratrics have a Hemi. So back to the show.

Never saw a FIAT go very far without repairs when I was growing up in New Zealand. Remember F.I.A.T means Fix It Again Tony

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Toyota was using the 5.7 hemi in their trucks? They are buying the engines from Chrysler, but can't use the hemi name because Chrysler has it trademarked. I have seen some new Toyota trucks with 5.7 badging on them.

If thats true, that would make sense of how GREAT my neighbors Toyota pickup sounds!  He got an exhaust on it and damn it sounds good... I KNEW there had to be a mopar in there somewhere!!!!!!!!!!

Is this really true???

Are you telling me that a Toy engine can sound that great!?!? :eek2:

where, i havent seen one!!!!

They're everywhere here in NW Arkansas and NE Oklahoma. I live in a little suburb of about 7,000 people and there's already four or five here in town. There's only three new Challengers in town that I know of.
Thanks to Wal-Mart, the economy is doing a little better than average in this part of the world. They've been gearing up on that "world market domination" plan lately. Around here when someone says that they work for Wal-Mart, they're probably pulling down six figures.  :)

Next time you get a chance to hear the exhaust on a V8 Nissan Armada or full sized pick up, it actually sounds pretty good, IMO...  :2cents:
