So I'm assuming those are functional?  How do you get around emissions or sound restrictions?  Is there a glasspack in there?

1) they are now.!!..
2) I am leaving the Cat Converts on there, so there will be no prob w/ emissions..
3) There are 2 (two) mufflers on each side.. 1 small one in the 'collector, and a long one in the tubes..

I have to agree ti takes balls to add them to a new Chall , however of all the mods you have made to the car I like this one the least , but different strokes !! I lived through the era of sidepipes & never even considered adding them to one of my vehicles so I guess I haven`t changed LOL  :2thumbs:
I agree!  Props for doing something different tho!

Way cool!!!!

Again, like the others, I want to hear them sing!  :grinyes:

But am really curious to see it all hooked up with the plumbing.

Emissions wise I would think no problem but I think I remember in Massachusetts, when I was younger a friend of mine had issues with side pipes at the time of his inspection sticker.  Some inspectors are sticklers and said they can only be on cars that had side exhaust from the factory, I.E. Challenger T/A, AAR Cuda, Shelby Mustangs.... is this going to be an issue?  :clueless:  Hope not!

Not here in Oklahoma.. :)

estimate for some sheet metal to replace the side skirting (from 2 shops, ~$300.00..)
so, not going that route..

Now That's Old School!  Very cool looking.  Also gives me an idea, I have a '92 Ram Charger that I am going to be getting back on the road soon and I was thinking about doing a Lil Red Express theme on it, those pipes would probably look perfect on it  :ylsuper:

They look cool but the downsides are every girl or guy getting in the car will burn their legs.  I had a camaro back in the day with the same exact pipes.  I had to warn everybody continously getting in and out but still it would happen. I can't tell you the number of people that got burned.  You are right it will only happen once to them.  The other sad note I think the heat did something to the sheet metal because the camaro rusted out terribly where the pipes came out under the fronmt and where the exhaust came out in the rear.  I ended up giving mine to a guy if he would take them off and replace the mufflers, he did.

The Pipes Are HOOKED Up.!

They have a deeper and throatier sound than I was expecting..
But not as deep and throaty as I was hoping..
I think they sound better from inside the car..
I'm not happy with the sound, but I do like it better than stock..
You can tell it is a V6, oh well, it is what it is..
Lost a little off the low-end, but not enough to worry about..

On my web site I have a descriptive of all the steps it took to get them installed..
with pics..
