:-[  Real sorry to hear about your uncle, Wally.  :-[

Cancer is a horrible thing, just eats away at you phyically and emotionally.  I had thyroid cancer, which is the best cancer to have if you had to have a cancer.  At least you uncle is no longer suffering.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I know this must be tough.  I know when you look at your cars you'll be reminded of your uncle and the good times you shared with him.

Thanks guys. I will drive the Challenger in the procession for a little tribute cruise. He never really got to see it at its best even though its been built for so long. I always wound up driving a different car to his place.

Today was very hard. It is tough to hold back tears but it gets better with time. It was wonderful to reunite with family that I havent seen. The pastor was great and spoke of his love for the junk yard and cars, trucks, motorcycles and bungie straps.  :lol2: I let everyone know that I was driving one of his own cars, and my cousin drove his 69 Road Runner. I wish my uncles 65' 300 could have been there.

Some very nice pictures and memorabilia were present, including his Preston 200 million (i think it was) mile trucking award, enough to circle the earth 80 times; also so many cool pictures of him and all his cars through history.

Sounds like it was a very nice service Shawn. I am sorry for your loss. My grandfather was a long haul trucker with Allied Van Lines in the 60's 70's and 80's. He hauled computers and stuff and I got to go with him a few times. The 200 million mile award is some serious mileage. Glad the pastor did a good job, so many of them stumble through services where you can tell they dont know the person from Adam.
