Nicest tape stripe treatment I've seen yet!
« on: June 06, 2009 - 09:08:26 PM »
I might have posted about this car before, but I recently got to see it again and even on the second viewing, I'm liking what I see here!
Oh, and check out the re-worked emblem too!

That is one of our stripes.... http://www.ridergraphix.com/Challenger_TA_Side.html
Actually, I am pretty sure that is one of my eBay customers.  The front of my stripes are different than the ones on RiderGraphix.  Plus, I  remember sending him the proofs for approval...

I doubt it.... I have seen the way your stripes fit and they are nowhere close to following the lines of the car like ours do.... Please don't try to take credit for work you never did.

Here is the same car from last year when we originally designed these stripes.... It was a Canadian customer, and if you look at the pic of the Hood badge, it has Challenger 500 which is how the Canadian 2008 SRT's were badged and marketed up there.

I stand (or in this a case sit) corrected.  Great work!

as much as i appreciate that you were right that it was one of your products, this part was not needed. Gary is a very valued member around here and you really could have done with just the second part and not sounded so insulting.

Don't worry, I was not insulted in the slightest.  I understand his not wanting someone else to take credit for his hard work.  I apologize to him for making the mistake of thinking it was one I did for a customer that had a similar request...

While I love Gary's humble attitude I also didnt like the tone of the post. His stripes done follow the lines of the car like yours? Makes it sound like he uses a broken coke bottle to cut out his stripes or something. I am a happy customer of Gary and know from experience that he would not intentionally try to take "credit" for someone elses work. He doesnt need to.

I would say you just cost yourself whatever customer base you were trying the establish by joining up.  I understand how competitive the market is right now, but making a complete a$$ out of yourself isn't going to help you position yourself any better.

Wow, and I'm not even the one trying to take credit for someone else's work here.
