I dont have anything against you. I just think a PM could have dealt with the issue. I have all the faith in the world that Gary would have chimed in here just like he did and made things right. It just looks harsh is all, you might not have meant to come across that way but it did.

And he could have done a little more research before trying to take credit for our work.

thats not the point we are trying to make and you are not making it better. he realized he made a mistake and all we are saying is you could have been more tactful about it. i dont care if he was making the mistake of saying the white house was his design, there is a tactful way to correct instead of making it sound like his work is crud and yours is superior. that is all that we are getting at. yes, he thought it was the one that he did. ok, so what. mistake, we are all human.

and Magnum, sorry for stealing your thread. the stripes are cool lookin

Seriously?  :horse:

Obviously you aren't one to fully think out your posts either, otherwise you might have suggested that you knew this particular stripe was one of yours because of the Canadian customer etc. without jumping all over Gary for a simple mistake. Gary has been on here a very long time, and I'll go out on a limb and say that most of us here trust Gary when he says did a similar design and just confused this particular stripe with the piece he did.

I seriously doubt his actions were malicious, which is why he quickly corrected himself and gave you your credit. Your actions, on the other hand, seem to be very much malicious in nature. You obviously do some good work, and it would have been easy to clarify this without any personal attacks.

They are good looking stripes, and a very nice car. But I'll be going to Gary if I need stripes for my car  :grinyes:
