Try here, showed up on Moparts

http://transamcuda.com/spoilers.htm

Won't fit a Challenger because of the turn signal pods. Otherwise I might get one.

I still want to keep it in case I use it someday, just like the cheap aluminum rear window louvers that I had on the back.

That's cool, I know I'd want to hold onto it too. But if you ever want to part with it or those cheap aluminum louvers, let me know and I'll take them off your hands!

Certainly seems to be enough interest in the MAS style spoilers here.  Maybe if someone still has one in good shape, there might be enough people willing to buy if it was copied in carbon fibre or similar???  Would cost more but could justify a small-run/group buy ;)

I have one of those front spoilers that I had on my challenger. I mounted it so that the chin started at the valance opening then the sides were mounted behind the turn signals. It puts it at a good angle and doesn't hang down so low.

I've heard that MAS Racing has gone out of business.  Although I don't know for sure if they have, all of my phone calls and emails go unanswered.  We made alot of fiberglass parts for MAS Racing, and if they're gone, I am going to start liquidating the parts we have in inventory.  I know that they had multiple glass shops doing parts for them, I can't speak for the quality of the other shops, but I feel that our quality is close to tops in this business.  If you need parts, give me your part number, I just might have it.

MAS does make inexpensive fiberglass parts. That means they are not going to fit perfect, they are going to need finish work to look nice, they will never be an OEM, restoration grade product, and their attaching methods are not remotely close to original. However, if you want an inexpensive piece that looks very similar to factory peices at a quarter of the cost and don't mind doing some work to get them finished, they are a fair value.

I've picked up fiberglass from a number of vendors. MAS does tend to be one of the lower quality suppliers out there, but that is, IMO, reflected in their prices as well. The differences between a $45 spoiler and a $200 spoiler better be significant, and in the case of MAS, it is.

O.K. O.K.    the MAS stuff is pretty much junk. I've worked with fiberglass for 20 yrs.I have the spoiler your talking about.    Since a lot of people would like them. And they could be better very easily.I'm going to make a mold of mine and make some better ones.     The problem is in the lamination. Too hot...Too quick.  Too  cheap!   It would not take much to do.    But I'm in limbo right now...No real place to live.Getting a shop soon. Can't get to it for awhile. But I WILL!    Rob

Rob,  what spoiler do you have that you will start reproducing?

It's the MAS one pictured on the first post.I'm making two types. One similar to the MAS one...But done correctly.  And another larger one. It will be a little while before I can finish the patterns. Then a quick mold.     They will be "cost-effective" !!   Rob.
