70 Cuda Seats
« on: June 07, 2009 - 03:26:52 PM »
I'm getting ready to start working on my interior I need to paint my seat frames and springs. But I'm not sure what type of black to use, I think it is a flat finish but how flat? Any tips on installing the seat covers, I did the front seat on a 68 coronet years ago and they were not to bad, I haven't removed the old covers yet but they just don't look as easy as the coronets. The covers I have are from Legendary. Any help would be appreciated

The frames are pretty glossy. You should find a well preserved section somewhere on the frames once you get the covers off. I have seen several frames still like new underneath.

Let me know of you find any broadcast sheets in the bucket seat backs too please?
