rotor change question
« on: June 08, 2009 - 11:27:50 PM »
My friend has the 72 a body kelsey hayes 4 piston brakes on the front of his 68 barracuda and wants to upgrade to the large bolt pattern. Are there any rotors that can be used on these brakes that have the large bolt pattern or is redrilling the stock rotors the only real option. (Wheel adaptors are not a real option)

in a word NO
nothing will fit the 4 piston system & it is a great system , the best upgrade is the 74 A body swap to single piston calipers & rotors , you do need the spindles as well

Do you think there is enough meet on the 4 inch rotors to drill the 4.5 inch pattern into them? I have the equipment to do it, but I haven't pulled the rotor to look and see if there is enough room.
