Okay- I removing the driver side quarter panel (I'm getting ready to put on a new fender well, trunk dropoff and quarter panel) and decide that a beating the hell out of it with a hammer is easier then drilling out the welds
DON"T DO IT
My thumb nail is now split horizonally and that MF'er HURTS!
I have learned my leason....thank God all I have left is a door panel....
I would post a pic of my damaged appendage - but I can't find the camera. good thing is the wife wasn't home to hear all the four letter words that I made up!

You probably used too small of a hammer..... BFH will get the job done...
if not try a chain saw.
We'll get rid of that thumb problem one way or another.

Speaking of panels - here is the result of a day of cutting, hammering, swearing - more cutting and sanding, metal treating, etc to go -

Yep, that ones gonna hurt for awhile. I have smashed my thumb before, but never almost removed it with a hammer.
Take care of you thumb and get yer quarter panel back on.
The work is looking good. Progress is always good.
